If you want to lose weight, there is a way! You need to stop worrying, get more sleep, eat normally and slowly.
Dr. Zhou's Expert Advice
Recent research indicates eating pinenuts can help curb your appetite. Poor sleep can increase your appetite through hormonal changes.
It takes 20 minutes for your brain to send signal to your stomach that "you are full", research finds that it takes average 15 minutes for most women to finish a meal, so when you feel full after eating, you already ate more than you should. Eat slowly. Each meal should take longer than 20 minutes to avoid overeating. Also avoid talking when eating, otherwise you swallow too much air.
Breakfast eat like a King; Lunch eat like a Princess; Dinner eat like a Beggar. Eat your largest and most nutritious meal between 7-9 a.m. Doing this will jump start your metabolism. Make sure you include some carbohydrates in your breakfast. Regular meals will prevent your body from storing and accumulating fats.
Caffeine and Sweets are dieter's enemy! Sweets will stimulate release of insulin, which also encourages the storage of fats.
Nuts and Unsaturated Fatty Acid are beneficial. Olive oil, flax oil, pinenuts, cashews, almonds, etc are the good fats your body needs.
Don't exercise if you are tired otherwise you will lose no weight. Sleep or take a nap instead. The more you relax, the easier it is to lose weight. Strange isn't it? Sometimes no effort is the best effort in weight loss.
Don't drink too much water or tea. If your body retains water or you have edema, this will burden you system.
Eat cucumber or eggplant as often as possible. Stay away from potatoes if you want to look like a cucumber, not a potato!
Avoid sitting in a car or couch after a meal. It is better to take a slow walk. And avoid shower or bath right before or after a meal.
